PHYSICAL TRAINING OF THE NEWLY RECRUITED RNM TRAFFIC WARDENS HAS RESUMED

On Monday, 01 July 2024, the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality started with the physical training of the 30 newly recruited traffic wardens.

 

These recruits will undergo a 2 months physical training then proceed to the Peace Officer Training. This Peace officer training will then be followed by Traffic College Training so that they can be able to properly perform their duties and responsibilities.

 

The process of recruiting these 30 wardens was a thorough and transparent one as the posts were advertised, then the shortlisted ones had to undego physical fitness assessment. Those who were successful in the physical fitness assessment were then invited for formal interviews.

The Ray Nkonyeni Local Municipality (previously Hibiscus Coast and Ezinqoleni Local Municipality) is a Category B municipality situated within the Ugu District in the KwaZulu-Natal Province. It is the largest of four municipalities in the district, making up a third of its geographical area.
