Public Libraries

Public Libraries

Ray Nkonyeni Municipal libraries offers a free public library service at 13 circulating libraries across the Municipal area.  Anyone may use these libraries, but only members may loan library material.  Items on loan must be returned to the same library from which they were borrowed.  Details of libraries can be found under contacts. read more

 

Beaches

The Ray Nkonyeni Municipality have 20 bathing beaches and 11 are main beaches. It is also significant to mention 6 of our beaches have Blue Flag Status. read more

Brief Information

The Ray Nkonyeni Local Municipality (previously Hibiscus Coast and Ezinqoleni Local Municipality) is a Category B municipality situated within the Ugu District in the KwaZulu-Natal Province. It is the largest of four municipalities in the district, making up a third of its geographical area.
