In line with the programmes of advancing South Coast to be the Tourist Destination of Choice the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality in partnership with Eyadini Events will hosts the inaugural South Coast Beach Picnic on 03 February 2018.

Whilst the South Coast Beach Picnic will be bringing together the people of South Coast to celebrate the end of the festive season it is also aimed at putting the local area in the map for tourists as such events do attract people from outside the locality. The South Coach Beach Picnic, which is planned to be an annual event, will bring together families to celebrate in music festival which will feature acts from artists and celebrities that they have never had the opportunity to see performing live. The picnic will not only be about entertainment but will also provide for job opportunities and local business since some services will be rendered by local people. It will also provide a platform for local artists to showcase their talent.

In empowering the local talent, like musicians, DJs, Composers, Entertainment Business Owners and event organisers, the programme will kick-start with the workshop equipping locals and those interested empowering them with skills on how to make a living from the entertainment industry also teaching them on how to make themselves viable brands in this highly contested industry.
