Location
This section is located at 666 Crescent Road, Uvongo, Civic Offices.
Roles and Functions
This section has three units which are town planning, building control and environmental management. Functions performed by the department are Geography and Information System management, signage control, environmental management, town planning.

Economic Development
Location
This section is located at Cnr Wooley & Robinson Street, Old Post Office Building, Port Stepstone
Roles and Functions
The section is responsible for ensuring the economy of the area is well managed to enable continuous growth, broadening of participation and geographic spread of wealth and economic activities, main streaming the economy and poverty alleviation. It is also responsible for the issuing and renewal of business licenses.
